And^G2532 it came to pass^G1096, as^G1722 he^G846 went^G2064 into^G1519 the house^G3624 of one^G5100 of the chief^G758 Pharisees^G5330 to eat^G5315 bread^G740 on the sabbath^G4521 day, that^G2532 they^G846 watched^{G2258 G3906} him^G846.²And^G2532, behold^G2400, there was^G2258 a certain^G5100 man^G444 before^G1715 him^G846 which had the dropsy^G5203.³And^G2532 Jesus^G2424 answering^G611 spake^G2036 unto^G4314 the lawyers^G3544 and^G2532 Pharisees^G5330, saying^G3004, Is it^G1487 lawful^G1832 to heal^G2323 on the sabbath day^G4521?⁴And^G1161 they held their peace^G2270.
