And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,2SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175, and unto his sonsH1121, and unto all the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them; This is the thingH1697 which the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680, sayingH559,3WhatH376 manH376 soever there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, that killethH7819 an oxH7794, or lambH3775, or goatH5795, in the campH4264, or that killethH7819 it outH2351 of the campH4264,4And bringethH935 it not unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, to offerH7126 an offeringH7133 unto the LORDH3068 beforeH6440 the tabernacleH4908 of the LORDH3068; bloodH1818 shall be imputedH2803 unto that manH376; he hath shedH8210 bloodH1818; and that manH376 shall be cut offH3772 from amongH7130 his peopleH5971:5To the end that the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 may bringH935 their sacrificesH2077, which they offerH2076 in the openH6440 fieldH7704, even that they may bringH935 them unto the LORDH3068, unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, unto the priestH3548, and offerH2076 them for peaceH8002 offeringsH2077 unto the LORDH3068.6And the priestH3548 shall sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196 of the LORDH3068 at the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, and burnH6999 the fatH2459 for a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068.
7And they shall no more offerH2076 their sacrificesH2077 unto devilsH8163, afterH310 whom they have gone a whoringH2181. This shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 unto them throughout their generationsH1755.8And thou shalt sayH559 unto them, Whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 which sojournH1481 amongH8432 you, that offerethH5927 a burnt offeringH5930 or sacrificeH2077,9And bringethH935 it not unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, to offerH6213 it unto the LORDH3068; even that manH376 shall be cut offH3772 from among his peopleH5971.
10And whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 that sojournH1481 amongH8432 you, that eatethH398 any manner of bloodH1818; I will even setH5414 my faceH6440 against that soulH5315 that eatethH398 bloodH1818, and will cut him offH3772 from amongH7130 his peopleH5971.11For the lifeH5315 of the fleshH1320 is in the bloodH1818: and I have givenH5414 it to you upon the altarH4196 to make an atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315: for it is the bloodH1818 that maketh an atonementH3722 for the soulH5315.12Therefore I saidH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, No soulH5315 of you shall eatH398 bloodH1818, neither shall any strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481 amongH8432 you eatH398 bloodH1818.13And whatsoever manH376 there be of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 that sojournH1481 amongH8432 you, which huntethH6679 and catchethH6718 any beastH2416 or fowlH5775 that may be eatenH398; he shall even pourH8210 out the bloodH1818 thereof, and coverH3680 it with dustH6083.14For it is the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320; the bloodH1818 of it is for the lifeH5315 thereof: therefore I saidH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Ye shall eatH398 the bloodH1818 of no manner of fleshH1320: for the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320 is the bloodH1818 thereof: whosoever eatethH398 it shall be cut offH3772.
15And every soulH5315 that eatethH398 that which diedH5038 of itself, or that which was tornH2966 with beasts, whether it be one of your own countryH249, or a strangerH1616, he shall both washH3526 his clothesH899, and batheH7364 himself in waterH4325, and be uncleanH2930 until the evenH6153: then shall he be cleanH2891.16But if he washH3526 them not, nor batheH7364 his fleshH1320; then he shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771.
