And it came to pass at the endH7093 of twentyH6242 yearsH8141, wherein SolomonH8010 had builtH1129 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and his own houseH1004,2That the citiesH5892 which HuramH2361 had restoredH5414 to SolomonH8010, SolomonH8010 builtH1129 them, and caused the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 to dwellH3427 there.3And SolomonH8010 wentH3212 to HamathzobahH2578, and prevailedH2388 against it.4And he builtH1129 TadmorH8412 in the wildernessH4057, and all the storeH4543 citiesH5892, which he builtH1129 in HamathH2574.5Also he builtH1129 BethhoronH1032 the upperH5945, and BethhoronH1032 the netherH8481, fencedH4692 citiesH5892, with wallsH2346, gatesH1817, and barsH1280;6And BaalathH1191, and all the storeH4543 citiesH5892 that SolomonH8010 had, and all the chariotH7393 citiesH5892, and the citiesH5892 of the horsemenH6571, and all that SolomonH8010 desiredH2836 H2837 to buildH1129 in JerusalemH3389, and in LebanonH3844, and throughout all the landH776 of his dominionH4475.
7As for all the peopleH5971 that were leftH3498 of the HittitesH2850, and the AmoritesH567, and the PerizzitesH6522, and the HivitesH2340, and the JebusitesH2983, which were not of IsraelH3478,8But of their childrenH1121, who were leftH3498 afterH310 them in the landH776, whom the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 consumedH3615 not, them did SolomonH8010 make to payH5927 tributeH4522 until this dayH3117.9But of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 did SolomonH8010 makeH5414 no servantsH5650 for his workH4399; but they were menH582 of warH4421, and chiefH8269 of his captainsH7991, and captainsH8269 of his chariotsH7393 and horsemenH6571.10And these were the chiefH8269 of kingH4428 Solomon'sH8010 officersH5324 H5333, even two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, that bare ruleH7287 over the peopleH5971.
11And SolomonH8010 brought upH5927 the daughterH1323 of PharaohH6547 out of the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 unto the houseH1004 that he had builtH1129 for her: for he saidH559, My wifeH802 shall not dwellH3427 in the houseH1004 of DavidH1732 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, because the places are holyH6944, whereunto the arkH727 of the LORDH3068 hath comeH935.
12Then SolomonH8010 offeredH5927 burnt offeringsH5930 unto the LORDH3068 on the altarH4196 of the LORDH3068, which he had builtH1129 beforeH6440 the porchH197,13Even after a certain rateH1697 every dayH3117, offeringH5927 according to the commandmentH4687 of MosesH4872, on the sabbathsH7676, and on the new moonsH2320, and on the solemn feastsH4150, threeH7969 timesH6471 in the yearH8141, even in the feastH2282 of unleavened breadH4682, and in the feastH2282 of weeksH7620, and in the feastH2282 of tabernaclesH5521.
14And he appointedH5975, according to the orderH4941 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1, the coursesH4256 of the priestsH3548 to their serviceH5656, and the LevitesH3881 to their chargesH4931, to praiseH1984 and ministerH8334 before the priestsH3548, as the dutyH1697 of every dayH3117 requiredH3117: the portersH7778 also by their coursesH4256 at every gateH8179: for so had DavidH1732 the manH376 of GodH430 commandedH4687.15And they departedH5493 not from the commandmentH4687 of the kingH4428 unto the priestsH3548 and LevitesH3881 concerning any matterH1697, or concerning the treasuresH214.16Now all the workH4399 of SolomonH8010 was preparedH3559 unto the dayH3117 of the foundationH4143 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and until it was finishedH3615. 17Then wentH1980 SolomonH8010 to EziongeberH6100, and to ElothH359, at the seaH3220 sideH8193 in the landH776 of EdomH123.18And HuramH2361 sentH7971 him by the handsH3027 of his servantsH5650 shipsH591 H591, and servantsH5650 that had knowledgeH3045 of the seaH3220; and they wentH935 with the servantsH5650 of SolomonH8010 to OphirH211, and tookH3947 thence fourH702 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 talentsH3603 of goldH2091, and broughtH935 them to kingH4428 SolomonH8010.
