And JosephH3130 was brought downH3381 to EgyptH4714; and PotipharH6318, an officerH5631 of PharaohH6547, captainH8269 of the guardH2876, an EgyptianH376 H4713, boughtH7069 him of the handsH3027 of the IshmeelitesH3459, which had brought him downH3381 thither.2And the LORDH3068 was with JosephH3130, and he was a prosperousH6743 manH376; and he was in the houseH1004 of his masterH113 the EgyptianH4713.3And his masterH113 sawH7200 that the LORDH3068 was with him, and that the LORDH3068 made all that he didH6213 to prosperH6743 in his handH3027.4And JosephH3130 foundH4672 graceH2580 in his sightH5869, and he servedH8334 him: and he made him overseerH6485 over his houseH1004, and all that he hadH3426 he putH5414 into his handH3027.5And it came to pass from the timeH227 that he had made him overseerH6485 in his houseH1004, and over all that he hadH3426, that the LORDH3068 blessedH1288 the Egyptian'sH4713 houseH1004 for Joseph'sH3130 sakeH1558; and the blessingH1293 of the LORDH3068 was upon all that he hadH3426 in the houseH1004, and in the fieldH7704.6And he leftH5800 all that he had in Joseph'sH3130 handH3027; and he knewH3045 not oughtH3972 he had, saveH518 the breadH3899 which he did eatH398. 20And Joseph'sH3130 masterH113 tookH3947 him, and put himH5414 into the prisonH1004 H5470, a placeH4725 where the king'sH4428 prisonersH615 were boundH631: and he was there in the prisonH1004 H5470.
21But the LORDH3068 was with JosephH3130, and shewedH5186 him mercyH2617, and gaveH5414 him favourH2580 in the sightH5869 of the keeperH8269 of the prisonH1004 H5470.22And the keeperH8269 of the prisonH1004 H5470 committedH5414 to Joseph'sH3130 handH3027 all the prisonersH615 that were in the prisonH1004 H5470; and whatsoever they didH6213 there, he was the doerH6213 of it.23The keeperH8269 of the prisonH1004 H5470 lookedH7200 not to any thingH3972 that was under his handH3027; because the LORDH3068 was with him, and that which he didH6213, the LORDH3068 made it to prosperH6743.
